This year’s call for applications to the Nordic
Gender Fund opens on 1 October. Welcome to a
digital information session about the fund and this year’s call for
applications.
As part of the efforts to strengthen gender research
as a field, the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research at the University of
Gothenburg has established the Nordic Gender Fund. The Secretariat allocates
funding from the fund annually, and is now offering you the opportunity to take
part in an online information session on 8 October at 2.00–2.45 pm. You are
welcome to register!
Complex picture of LGBTI people's living conditions in rural areas
The living conditions of LGTBI people depend on where in the
Nordic Region they live. There are regional differences, for example in access
to support, targeted initiatives and networks. The publication brings together
key studies from across the region, highlighting the living conditions of LGBTI
people from different perspectives.
Research project on remote working presented at international conferens
The Royal Geographical Society
Annual Conference takes place from 1 to 4 September in London, with the theme
‘Geographies of inequalities: towards just places’. The Swedish Secretariat for
Gender Research will be attending and presenting an abstract linked to a
research project on remote working.

primarily focused on and organised within three focus areas, which interact
with each other. Within these, we conduct research reviews, investigations and
analyses, and identify knowledge gaps and research needs. We also administer three
funds.
